Summer has now arrived..!!
Let's get the ball rolling and get a massive turnout at The Notleys.
We have tried to keep costs as low as possible, so some courses are "Buy it yourself if you want food" But some courses have food supplied.

RULE CHANGES for 2026
This season 2026 there are a few rule changes, Handicaps will continue from where they ended last season, not bumped up as per previously adding to WHS/EGU handicaps.
Final season tour match number 8, will see the top 4 highest scored points players play in a group together, regardless of league they normally play in.
League groups will continue according to your individual handicap playing ability level.
(some players have moved leagues).
We will only be counting only the best 7 scores from 8 matches towards the end totals... if you play all 8 matches your lowest (worst) score will be discounted. If you only play in 7 or less matches all scores will count.

Our society is based on friends and family enjoying each others company in the golf course environment without problems.
**We will NOT tolerate any kind of Verbal or Physical violence or intimidation of people whilst in the company of a Society event.**
** For future reference...Anyone believed to be in breach of our ethos, will be refused any further invitations and will be excluded from all future DOGS golf activities. **

IMPORTANT the committee ask all players repeatedly, again & again....
Please take more care when counting your shots, the score you put on your card does have knock on effects for other players and can be very distracting if someone is constantly having to watch you as you play your round. We all make a mistake occasionally, it's the people who make constant accounting errors... you know who you are... so do we. !
Rules of golf. 6.3a A player must put an identifying mark on the ball to be played... Not everyone is doing it. !

Also the old nutmeg....SLOW PLAY. we are all very capable of playing our golf round in approx. 4 1/2 hrs, no matter how busy the course is, so please pick up the pace....!
